Role & Responsibilities You are an all-rounder as a Communications Specialist with a keen eye for visual design, ability to write simple and effective copy while juggling the various channels and communications deadlines. • Manage and schedule all outbound communications requests and media submission as per our Communications Policy • Create and manage all digital media content (photos, videos, animations) for social media • Assist to launch communications campaigns from start to finish including strategy, planning, creation, execution & evaluation • Manage and maintain the website and progressive web app via content management systems • Create and manage data collection forms for signup, data gathering, data updates or booking in line with Data Management Policy • Manage all Social Media Channels and respond to or redirect inbound messages as per Communications Management Policy • Assist to maintain and manage specialized cross social media posting software and review scheduled posts • Manage a volunteer team for posters, content and thumbnail creation, daily social media posting & website updates • Manage the posting of video content for social channels including those for Daily Liturgy and Mass to meet prescribed timing • Assist in creating content & scheduling on digital e-signboards • Assist parish & staff team in supporting digital and IT needs (basic level 1 troubleshooting and managing maintenance contracts) • Report to the Lead, Digital Communications weekly on project progress as well as resource allocation management Requirements • Minimum 2 years’ experience in communications, copywriting, design, illustration, animation, digital media or public relations • Experience working in a Catholic, Christian or Non-Profit organization is advantageous • Please submit at least 2 links of your work (portfolio ) Terms • 12-month contract (annual renewable) • Employee Term Contract: with CPF & staff benefits such as leave, medical leave & group health insurance • Part Time Available (Negotiable) • Option to work from home due to nature of work (may include weekends) • Required to be present in all Staff Meetings or in-person team meetings if held in church or via online meetings Closing Date: 15 Feb 2021 To Apply: Please click on the Apply Now Link to apply via. The Parish Secretary is a full-time appointment with the parish. You will be in charge of recording and filing of all parish administrative files and records, perform all other secretarial functions within the parish office, as well as assist with communications between the parish and the Archdiocese office or other parish offices. Your responsibilities include: • Maintenance and upkeep of parish sacramental records • Updating of parish sacramental records, etc to the Archdiocese • Communication with other parishes for updates of records • Coordination of other sacramental functions of the Friars/parish, e.g. house blessings, anointing of the sick, communion for the sick and house-bound, etc. • Incoming and outgoing communications with the Chancery Office • Attendance and answering of all incoming emails on administrative matters from Government departments as well other organisations. • Secretary for the liturgical/Friar meetings. • To assist in any other work that is asked of any of the Friars assigned to the parish. The working hours will be 9am to 6pm, Mondays to Fridays, but flexibility with working hours and working days will be required due to the nature of parish work. Working hours will not exceed 40 hours per work week. Official hours may change from time to time according to the needs of the parish, and you will be given ample notice of any changes. The candidate will be required to write and speak well in English. Knowing a second language will be an advantage. He/she will need to be an independent worker who is organised and works with initiative, and will also need to be comfortable with working on computers and be adept in Word, Excel and emails. Experience with working in a Catholic Church parish office will be an added advantage. The Parish Admin Officer is a full-time appointment with the parish. You will be the first-responder to all incoming communications for the parish via phone or email, as well as the main coordinator and administrator of all matters pertaining to the operations within the parish office. Your responsibilities include: • Being the first-responder for all incoming telephone calls/inquiries • Attendance and answering of all incoming emails to the parish's official email • Assist in the liturgical and other communications within the office as well as between the parish office and all parish ministries. • Upkeep of SOPs and functional records/documents of the parish. • Dedicated purchasing officer to ensure the parish meets TRCAS purchasing guidelines. • To maintain, review and negotiate recurring contracts of the parish. • Management of the booking of parish halls, rooms and facilities. • Administration and coordinating of general functions within the parish office. • To assist in any other work that is asked of any of the Friars assigned to the parish.
